Sadly this"'"game isn't a classic due to an awkward control system."''"The game itself is one of exploring a castle and collecting"'"potions to put in a wizards pot, overcoming traps, puzzles"'"and weird yet cute creations along the way.":

1 ;"The SHARP MZ 711 is probably the most pro-looking kit of the bunch; a snazzy layout and bolt on tape and printer"'"gave it an officious style. Languages have to be loaded in"'"from boot-up which could either be seen as a hindrance or a boon. Not very sexy this one but it has its fans."
1 ;"The COLOUR GENIE is a sturdy but cheap looking computer boasting probably the worst joysticks ever designed. In a"'"drunken haze you could attempt to ring your mother on one"'"or even worse, try to play a game with it. Despite its name":

A cache for your"'"goodies is essential to avoid them being found. The tunnel"'"systems under the camp really do need a torch to navigate and you'll need that shovel too for cave-ins. Simply let the game run and your fat bottomed sprite will go about his"'"business. This is useful for timing the guards set patrols."

You use ANYTHING moist and your Speccy is going to suffer for the rest of its life (which won't be very"'"long I can tell you!) Gently wipe away the filth with a clean dry cloth. If you do encounter that dried blob of ribena"'"then it's best left rather than scrub at it with wire wool."'"This is your Speccy with its sensitive belly bits out so treat"'"it with tenderness. Then again don't be afraid to dig about in your Speccy."

You wanted more reviews than anything else so here you are! Memory permitting we'll still slip in the odd weird section."

Ultimates delicious packaging and the air of"'"mystery they created as faceless bods from Ashby-De-La-"'"Zouch was a blast of fresh air through the mainly 2D Manic Miner clones of the time. But the really impressive thing"'"about Knight Lore is you can load this game tomorrow and it still wouldn't look dated. I think they came from space..."

But if I were a computer I'd like to look like the MEMOTECH MTX 512 -"'"sleek, dark and a trifle sexy. Well that's me anyway and all"'"girls with glasses and short hair can write to me now..."'"Running at a monster 4 Mhz and with a user language that"'"called itself NODDY, how could you not fall for its charms?"'"A built-in Dis/assembler puts the cherry on top really."

Amanda swoons and Claire dribbles, the Ace is truely ace! Designed by the"'"Speccy team to be more of a hobbiest device, the Ace had"'"Forth instead of Basic and a B/W video output."
1 ;"I've managed to escape several times mainly going through"'"the wire and then filling my pants as I'm recaptured owing"'"to bad planning. However the game never gets boring as"'"there are obviously several different ways out. Someone"'"please write and tell me";

If you knacker these you really will need a new membrane so go easy young man! The first"'"48K is easy but look out for the others with the built in"'"tilters. It took me the best part of two weeks trying to"'"work out how to put the little leg bits back in place (and I'm not stupid, I just forgot to buy a goal-scorer in time)."
